Exchanged Document

The Exchanged Document contains the contractual details about the 'document' being exchanged between parties, it also contains the id of the document i.e. Bill of Lading Number.

Attributes

The diagram above shows the most commonly used attributes from the Exchanged Document class, there are more available in the MMT RDM, but the most common include:

• ID (such as the Bill of Lading Number)

• Issue Date Time

• Original Issued Quantity (i.e. Originals of the paper Bill of Lading)

• Copy Issued Quantity (i.e. copies of the paper Bill of Lading)

• Issue Location

• Contractual Clauses (codes list)

• Signatories for the Document
